Abstract:		 In May 2010 Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) commissioned an aerial photographic assessment of an area of some 56 hectaresof land centred at TG 011 116) in order to identify and accurately map archaeological, recent and natural features. The assessment was commissioned by Hopkins Homes Ltd in advance of a proposed planning application for a residential development at the site. No archaeological features were identfied within the study area or the area surrounding it. It was uncertain whether this absence of information was a real absence of archaeological presence or whether it was due to the local soils, unvresponsive crops or lack of aerial observation at appropriate times of year.
