Abstract: |
January 2006. Oxford Archaeology carried out a field evaluation as part of the West Coast Main Line upgrade at Site A15, SK 103 142. The evaluation consisted of 9 trenches and revealed post-medieval/ modern field boundaries and ditches. Some of the ditches contained no pipework and were interpreted as possibly forming part of an irrigation system for a post-medieval water meadow. |
