Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out by John Moore Heritage Services on a specified section of the pipeline construction between White Waltham and Beenhams Heath. Topsoil overlay subsoil, which in turn overlay natural deposits silty clay. Finds of worked flint, ceramic building material, and copper alloy objects were recovered from the area stripped, no features were uncovered.
