Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out by CFA Archaeology Ltd on the route of an access road to the newly constructed Armadale Station. No features of archaeological significance were identified during the evaluation. Twelve trenches were excavated amounting to 690m², just under 10% of the total area of the road corridor. Trenches had been targeted on the potential location of a 19th century Brick and Tile Works shown the Ordnance Survey 1st Edition map |
