Abstract: |
NN 81310 48915 A watching brief was maintained on 10 and 11 November 2010 during excavations for a new cycle skills track in a field to the immediate N of the B846 Aberfeldy to Tummel Bridge road. Aerial photography has identified four round barrows and what appear to be three sunken buildings a short distance to the E of the site. The narrow track describes a circuitous route, approximately 600m long, around the field, through level and sloping areas. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered at any point within the trench. |
