Abstract:		 University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) carried out an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching for LHA ASRA Group on land at 770 Melton Road, Thurmaston, Leicestershire (SK 6103 0953). The work was undertaken as part of an archaeological impact assessment in advance of residential development. The evaluation identified two linear features of medieval date, and a further two features containing sherds of Roman pottery. The archive is to be deposited with Leicestershire County Council, Sites and Monuments Record, under accession number XA.72.2008.
