Abstract:
Monitoring of service runs and ancilliary works around Abbot's Hall, adjacent to the Museum of East Anglian Life were carreid out durign 2011 as improvement works were undertaken to increase access and visitor experience. A large quantitty of unstratified material was identified in the soil of the service runs, from medieval to modern date, and two wall footigns were seen, believed to relate to a previous incarnation of Abbot's Hall (the present building constructed in 1709).
