Abstract: |
Strip, plan and sample of a single house plot within precinct of medieval hospital, exposed a small square stone structure with associated lead glazier's waste, two ditches, a pit, a possible yard or path surface, and a possible truncated wall foundation, all dated to the 13th to 14th century and sealed by a deep soil horizon. Later activity included undated pits and postholes and a ceramic land drain. |
