Abstract: |
Archaeological Evaluation undertaken at the Inner Temple Hall prior to the construction of an access lift. Test Pit 1 did not reach natural but encoutnered a Purbeck limestone wall, part of the late 17th century cloister building. Walls from a 19th century lightwell with a storage or basement room were also encountered. |
