Abstract: |
The main objective was to determine the extent and depth of the existing foundation of the west wall of Kings Cross Suburban Train Shed through monitoring of trial pits. A 19th century concrete footing and stepped brick foundation for a still existent wall were recorded in Trial Pit 1. A 20th century made ground / levelling deposit was found to be sealing the test pit. |
