Abstract: |
In September 2008 an archaeological Watching Brief was undertaken to monitor ground reduction at the Canary Wharf Riverside South site (WEF-01). Previous watching briefs had been conducted in association with works on site since 2001. The monitoring exercise identified a number of dock walls associated with the Upper, Middle and Lower Docks and associated structures of the Union Docks dockyard, which operated on site in the 19th and 20th centuries. |
