Abstract: |
AC Ltd was commissioned by David and Paula Jump to undertake archaeological recording in advance and alongside works associated with the conversion of Holy Trinity Church to a dwelling. The recording was required as a condition of planning permission and listed building consent for the proposed development. The archaeological recording principally consisted of historic building recording in advance of conversion and a watching brief of relevant conversion works. This site (NGR SX 18019 76545) is designated as a Grade II Listed building. The historic building recording was undertaken on the 22nd August, it recorded: The 19th Century Church. Internal and external fixtures, fittings and features including grave stones and stained glass associated with the church and its later refurbishments. The watching brief recorded a series of sleeper walls beneath the existing floor of the church. |
