Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching revealed a number of small, undated features, probably relating to the former use of the site as allotments. A large sarsen stone may have been a boundary stone. A possible earlier course of the river Kennet was also noted. A small number of unstratified worked flints included two possibly of late Upper Palaeolithic date. |
