Abstract:		 John Moore Heritage Services carried out an evaluation on land to the rear of Mill Road, Shabbington at Franklins Farm. The evaluation revealed evidence of intensive medieval use of the rear of the plot, comprising some pitting and postholes. This may indicate the presence of structures within the plot boundary. Ditches, at right angles to the street frontage onto Ickford Road, and forming sub-divisions of the current plot may indicate that the current property is formed of at least two plots with internal divisions within each boundary.
