The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The evaluation revealed the presence of three periods of activity on the site. The earliest, represented by two lithics in residual contexts, is probably dated to the earlier Neolithic. The second phase is dated probably to the Iron Age, although a late Bronze Age origin is also possible. This phase of activity is represented by boundary ditches and postholes indicating a settlement. The third phase is dated to the 11th and 12th centuries by apparent plot boundaries aligned on Moat Lane along with pits. While no evidence of buildings was forthcoming it is likely that buildings would have been present in the area.
