The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The archaeological evaluation revealed evidence for the presence of continuous medieval activity dating from the 12th century through to the 16th century. A large outer enclosure to the moated site to the east was found. This appears to have originated in the 12th century and was enlarged perhaps in the mid 13th to 14th century. Ditches appear to have sub-divided this enclosure. Remains indicating a probable building were encountered. A possibly long-used path was found along with pits.
