Abstract: |
CFA Archaeology Ltd carried out an invasive evaluation (5219m²) of a proposed residential housing development on the western edge of East Linton, East Lothian. The evaluation revealed deep soil deposits under which were two small ring-ditches and a U-shaped ditch which may be the terminal of a cursus monument. Several pits were also recorded. Finds were restricted to a few lithics in flint and chert and a few sherds of Scottish White Gritty Ware medieval pottery |
