Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East (ASE), a division of University College London Centre for Applied Archaeology (UCLCAA), was commissioned by Mr Abid Siddiqui to undertake an archaeological watching brief at 161 Coombe Road, London Borough of Croydon (NGR TQ 33331 64790). The monitoring of the foundation trenches revealed topsoil over natural gravel natural and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were encountered. The topography of the site suggests the plot had been previously terraced into the west facing slope. |
