Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out by GUARD Archaeology Limited on arable land at the south-east end of Balfron Station on behalf of Mr and Mrs Paterson prior to developing the site as a single dwelling with associated garage, access road, underground services and landscaping. The trial trench evaluation recorded no archaeological features. Tile and rubble drains were seen in two of the four excavated trenches. |
