Abstract: |
The archaeological excavation identified a number of structural remains, including walls and floors, which appear to relate to a medieval Friary which is known to have occupied the site from 1268 until the dissolution, as well as those relating to a row of modest cottages associated with late 19th century development of the site, as depicted on historic mapping. |
