Abstract:		 In August 2009 an archaeological evaluation was undertaken by ASC on the land adjacent to the Moat House, Church Road, Colmworth, Bedfordshire, prior to the construction of a new residential development. Two Evaluation trenches were excavated revealing the stratigraphy of the site and the remains of a wall and stone surface area, with evidence of ceramic building material and medieval pottery.
