Abstract:		 21 evaluation pits were excavated and revealed post-medieval features including cellar walls, brick floors and a vaulted in the car park area, medieval intercutting pits and ditches beneath small areas of later buildings in the southern courtyard and the remains of Victorian tenements and buildings possibly connected to a 19th century brewery in the central courtyard. Work continues.
