Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land at 59 High Street, Foxton, Cambridgeshire (TL 4115 4843). The fieldwork took place on the 8th January 2014. A total of four trenches were excavated within the proposed development area. The archaeological remains included four Victorian rubbish pits located along the frontage of the land plot. Two undated quarry pits were recorded within the centre of the proposed development area. |
