Article on an archaeological evaluation and excavation undertaken in 1993 at the site of the former Queen Mary's Hospital, Carshalton, in an area to the south of a Late Bronze Age enclosure. Evidence recovered included a significant amount of Late Bronze Age pottery, struck flint and fire-cracked flint and environmental data (chiefly in the form of charred plant remains and molluscs), as well as a possible boundary ditch or pit.
