Abstract:		 A detailed magnetometer survey was undertaken by Archaeological Surveys Ltd over the eastern part of a single field at Woolpit in Suffolk. The site lies immediately adjacent to a medieval moated site and well, known as Lady's Well, which has been designated as a Scheduled Monument. The site lies outside of the scheduled area, and although a number of positive and negative anomalies have been located, they are so weak, short and indistinct that they cannot be interpreted as cut features and none can be clearly seen as having an association with Lady's Well. A number of former field boundaries and land drains have also been located.
