Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 21.8 hectares of grassland. The survey identified a former field boundary as the only probable archaeology on the site. There is no evidence for Prehistoric or Roman features, for which the site is identified as having some potential for by the desk-based assessment. A number of possible archaeological features have been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of geological or modern origin, relating to a footpath, former trees, an underground service, agricultural activity, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
