Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 10.1 hectares of grassland and agricultural land. The survey has identified former field boundaries and areas of ridge and furrow cultivation as the only probable archaeology on the site. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of geological or modern origin, relating to a track way, an underground service, agricultural activity, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
