Abstract:		 A detailed magnetometer survey was undertaken by Archaeological Surveys Ltd at Birchington Vale Holiday Park in Kent, ahead of a new static caravan/lodge development. The results of the survey indicate the presence of several weakly positive anomalies in the north eastern part of the site (Area 1). These include a positive curvilinear anomaly which may indicate a small ring ditch-like feature, with other short positive linear anomalies and discrete responses which are poorly defined. Larger, weak, amorphous responses have also been located, but it is not possible to determine if they relate to an increased depth of topsoil within naturally formed features or if they relate to anthropogenic activity. In the western part of the site (Area 2) linear zones of strongly magnetic debris indicate ground consolidation and no significant anomalies were located in magnetically quieter strips adjacent to the debris
