Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation by trial trenching was carried out on land at Williamsgate ahead of the construction of a proposed water treatment works. 19 trenches were excavated to provide a representative sample of the area and target geophysical anomalies. An undated field boundary foundation and a single sherd of Roman pottery were the only finds of any archaeological significance. |
