Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in January 2016 by University of Leicester Archaeological Services on behalf of Mr Stephen Lee. on land at Easthorpe Lodge, Manor Road, Easthorpe, Bottesford, Leicestershire. The fieldwork was undertaken in advance of a proposed residential development. The archaeological evaluation provided evidence for early medieval archaeological activity in the northern part of the site, possibly associated with the adjacent medieval moated manorial site, whilst plough furrows were encountered in the southern paddock area.
