Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out during the stripping of topsoil at a gravel extraction site. Cropmarks at the site had been investigated during a previous evaluation, revealing a network of late Roman field ditches. During the watching brief, iron age pits and a post hole were recorded. Roman remains included five cremation burials, two enclosures, pits, ditches, post holes and pottery. [Au(adp)]
