Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of service trenches in an area which contained evidence of activity from the prehistoric to the medieval period. A sequence of topsoil, transformed from make-up deposits was observed which was cut by a recent sewer trench. An undated, though possibly 18th century, brick surface survived across part of the site.
