Abstract: |
Trial trenches were excavated on the proposed development site. Alluvial deposits sealed by a buried soil of medieval earlier date was identified. Over the buried soil dump deposits of medieval date were identified, containing evidence of a heating process and crop processing. An undated pit was filled with a similar deposit. Structural remains of a 17th century building were encountered and 19th/20th brick floor was identified. [Au(abr)] |
