Abstract: |
The watching brief comprised the observation and recording of pits dug for pies and pile caps. It was believed that much of the cemetery was removed by the Necropolis Company in the 1970s, although disarticulated human bone and fragmentary coffin furniture was recovered. Elsewhere, occasional post-medieval intrusion were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
