Abstract: |
The archaeological field evaluation revealed evidence for Romano-British and medeival activity across the site. Several ditches, a wall probably representing property boundaries and a possible rubbish pit were revealed. Two ditches containing Romano-British pottery may also have been field boundaries or may relate to a settlement enclosure. A number of undated pits and gullies are most likely to be associated with either medieval or Romano-British acitivity. [Au(abr)] |
