Abstract: |
Two trenches were evaluated. Horticultural soil containing pottery from the medieval to early modern periods was found in one trench. In the other the natural was not reached. A probable medieval stone wall against which layers of medieval and modern date had been deposited. A watching brief was recommended, although the remains were not thought to be of sufficient significance to warrant preservation. [Au(adp)] |
