Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during ground clearance in preparation for building work. Beneath the modern concrete surface was a layer of reddish-brown sand with black silty ash. It was indicated that in the early days of the brewery this area was used as an unsurfaced storage area for barrels, which were stacked on an ash bedding. No other features were revealed. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 1990.5004 (YAT investigation identification no) |
