Abstract: |
Previous excavation in Quay Street have indicated the presence of rudimentary slipways at the foot of the cliff slope. No such slipways were found. The excavation and watching brief showed the site was infilled and levelled and subsequently built upon as evidence by a well and stone wall during the post-medieval period. [Au(adp)] |
