The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on land at Bestwood Street, Lewisham, London Borough of Lewisham SE8 5AW. The watching brief consisted of the monitoring of a series of foundation bases and service trenches associated with the redevelopment of a Lidl food store on the site. Natural layers on site consisted of sands and gravels, layers of yellowish grey alluvial clayey sand and sandy clay, and dark brown alluvial silty clay. Two late 19th century features and layers of made ground were recorded.
