Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology (OA) was commissioned by Peter Lawlor to undertake a programme of historic building investigation and recording on a building known as The Old Malthouse, 19a Paradise Street, Oxford. Planning permission has been granted for the conversion of the building, which has most recently been used as offices, to residential dwellings (12/00804/PAC). The building is unlisted but it is within the Central Conservation Area and it is of interest due to it being one of the last buildings to survive from this area's important brewing history. |
