Abstract: |
A geophysical survey of Shingay Hospitaller Commandery in Cambridgeshire. The investigation clearly showed that a number of archaeological features are preserved beneath the ground. Some of these features are likely to be foundation walls of stone or brick, robbed foundation trenches, and ditches relating to the Medieval commandery. Some features may also be from a Post-Medieval hall, which has also been present within the site. |
