The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was carried out by GUARD Archaeology on behalf of Meary Voar Developments, on an area proposed for development at Greendykes Road, Edinburgh. A trial trench evaluation of 10% of the total area proposed for development (c. 13 ha) was undertaken. Several archaeological features of local significance were encountered during the evaluation, including the basal courses of a demolished sandstone wall/field boundary, mineshafts and further evidence of early modern mining activity.
