Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology during groundworks associated with the installation of a sustainable drainage system at Newtown Road, Worcester. This included the excavation of sewers a swale and an attenuation pond. A single pit containing 19/20th-century pottery and animal bone was revealed and a rubble deposit, possibly associated with the demolition of a former cottage, was observed during the groundworks. |
