Abstract:		 A watching brief was conducted on groundworks for the erection of a wind monitoring mast. Five small trenches were machine excavated to provide anchor points for the mast. The mast itself was to be placed directly on the existing ground surface, secured by wires connecting it to the anchor points and involved no other intrusive works. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered.
