Abstract: |
Between November 2012 and May 2013 Oxford Archaeology conducted an archaeological watching brief during the construction of a new all-weather athletics track and ancillary works at St Mary's School, Ascot, Berkshire (Centred at NGR: SU 924 669). The watching brief observed evidence of post-medieval cultivation, probably relating to market gardening, together with 20th century landscaping. No evidence of activity prior to the 18th century was observed. |
