Abstract: |
A pair of linear trial trenches were excavated in 2014 to test anomalies from an earlier geophysical survey on an area of land to the north of a 19th century walled garden (Tees HER 6616). The trenches both revealed former hard surfaces, probably associated with former yards along with wall footings, rubbish pits and post holes. All of these related to very late 19th century or 20th century activity. |
