Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment was carried out by Archaeological Services Durham University in 2010 on a proposed development at Brierton Lane, Hartlepool. Although there are no featurers immediately on the site, it lies around 1km from the Iron Age / Roman site at catcote and a similar distance away from the site of possibly Roman burials at Brierton Quarry. NB There is an almost identical report for an adjacent site owned by the same developer (OASIS id archaeol3-82144)
