Abstract:		 Archaeological excavations have taken place over an area of approximately 3,700 square metres on Washington Square at RAF Mildenhall. The work followed on from a trenched evaluation that took place after the surface of the car park that occupied the site had been removed. finds have included several prehistoric burials and a complex sequence of Roman occuopation with well laid out and stratified fied systems
