Abstract:		 Allen Archaeology Limited (hereafter AAL) was commissioned by Claypole Parish Council to undertake a topographical survey on land adjacent off Osterfen Lane, Claypole, Lincolnshire to fulfil a planning condition associated with the proposed construction of a playing field at the site. Remains of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded across the northern half of the site, with probable medieval settlement features recorded in the southern half.
