Abstract: |
This report represents a building assessment and a wider heritage assessment on 373 Woodstock Road, Oxford (SP 49931 09804). This report was carried out at the request of the conservation team at Oxford City Council. The building is a structure of one phase of the late Arts and Crafts Movement with a long southeast to northwest axis. On the front and to the rear there are symmetrical architectural features. Internally it can be seen that this building contains a number of original features including a vaulted hall, original panelled doors, original windows, five original fireplaces, and red clay floor tiles some with decorative motifs |
